Art and literature are important aspects of any healthy society, but In the age of technology, it’s easy to lose touch with our cultural heritage and traditions. what if there was a way to enjoy literature while going about our daily lives and also preserve Indian folklore? Gaatha, a unique audio platform revolutionizing how we consume literature. It is an initiative compiling rich cultural & literary heritage in audio form to fit into our busy lifestyle.
Gaatha Mahotsav is an annual festival dedicated to celebrating the art of storytelling, encompassing a wide range of literary forms, traditional narratives, and modern interpretations.
It is a premier cultural event dedicated to celebrating the world of literature and the arts. This year’s event will take place on 21 July at IIT Kanpur, bringing together storytellers, authors, performers, and audiences from diverse backgrounds to share and cherish stories that resonate across generations. This year’s theme, “Youth & Literature- Audience of Digital ERA” aims to explore the intersection of traditional literary forms and modern technology, engaging a wide audience of literature enthusiasts, students, educators, and professionals.

In past years, we have been blessed to have well-known and renowned dignitaries of various domains as speakers and guests. A few names are Hon Dpt. CM Keshav Prasad Maurya ji, Speaker of UP Assembly Shri Satish Mahana ji, Director IIT Kanpur Prof Abhay Karandikar, Famous Bollywood & Literature personalities like bollywood actor -Annu Kapoor, well known poets as Ashok Chakradhar, Geet Chaturvedi, Rajendra Gupta, Azhar Ikbal, R. Balki, famous story writers like Mamta Kalia, Manisha Kulshreshtha and many more.
